About
Kate Crosgrove is an American artist, born in Virginia. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn New York. Kate taught herself to draw and paint at a very young age. By the age of 14 she placed in state-wide art competitions and had her first works published in books. After high school she attended Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia graduating with a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design. Strangely, painting was not her focus of study while in art school, as design seemed more challenging. While in college she started making concert posters in her free time, an expression of her love for Rock & Roll. In 2009 she showed in the Manifest Hope show in Washington DC, in celebration of Barack Obama's inauguration. Kate has since shown in numerous exhibits throughout New York as well as Art Basel, Miami.
